Hi - I’m Beth Correll, Founder and Career Strategist at Step Function Coaching. Before starting my coaching practice, I spent my career inside large organizations in roles across supply chain, procurement, and finance leadership. Along the way, I had a front-row seat to how promotion decisions actually happen, and how early senior leaders begin identifying people with Director-level potential. One thing became clear: the professionals who move into leadership roles aren’t just strong performers. They demonstrate certain signals that executives notice long before a promotion discussion begins. Today, I work with ambitious professionals who know they’re capable of more and want to navigate their careers more strategically. Through my coaching and workshops, I help them understand how leadership really evaluates talent and how to start demonstrating the behaviors that open doors to bigger opportunities. For this workshop, I’ve also gathered insights from several C-suite leaders, including CEOs, CFOs, CPO's and CHROs - about the signals they personally look for when deciding who to invest in and develop for future leadership roles. I’m excited to share those insights with you.
